The Company

Dengie are the UK's leading grower and producer of alfalfa, used in the production of their popular range of fibre feeds for horses: The Alfa-A range and Hi-Fi range. All our feeds are backed by scientific research to determine their suitability for feeding to horses. Alfalfa is a rich source of many natural vitamins and minerals, energy and protein, and has been an integral part of horse rations for many centuries.

Background

Dengie have been a valued client for several years.   When we first became involved with Dengie, a variety of software was used for the many different trading activities of the company.  Sage Line 50 was the main accounting system and a variety of "standalone" bespoke application were used in different departments within the company.

Sage Line 100

Our advice was to implement Sage Line 100 and replace the "standalone" applications with a totally integrated solution.    

Software Development

Using Sage Line 100 as the "core" financial system we developed software to assist with Buying Group Administration, Grain Trading, Grain Storage, Feeds Sales & Distribution, Grain Sample Analysis and extensive financial reporting.  

Ongoing Relationship

Dengie now have a system which is totally integrated and satisfy's all of their business administration needs.
