Case Study - Hotspring Spas

The Company

Hotspring Spas

Background

Hotspring have been using Sage Line 50 for their accounting and order processing requirements since it's formation.  Due to the rapid expansion of the company, Sage Line 50 can no longer cope with the increasing demands due to the number of users and missing functionality.

Sage Line 100

Sage Line 100 was chosen due to it's stability and flexibility.   Having already been using a modified version of the Sage Line 100 stock control module to handle transfers of stock between branches and warehouses,  a customised version of Line 100 have been implemented to replace Sage Line 50.

Software Development

From A variety of enhancements have been made to the standard Sage Line 100 modules including :

  • Enhanced order processing routines
  • Improvements to "serial number" tracking of Hot Tubs
  • Bar Code Stock Routines
  • Commission Calculations and Commissions Ledger
  • Automated Stock Minimum Level Calculations
  • Automatic Purchase Ordering
  • Branch EPOS system with EPDQ Integration

Ongoing Relationship

Following a successful migration from Sage Line 50 to Sage Line 100, Hotspring now have a system which can cope with their expansion plans and incorporate functionality which was previously manually produced using Excel spreadsheets.  Hotspring Spas are planning to migrate to Sage MMS v3.5 in 2007.
