Case Study - Thorn Airfield Lighting

The Company

Thorn Airfield Lighting, formerly part of the Thorn Lighting group of companies, supply and install airflield lighting systems throughout the world. They have offices in Australia, France, Sweden and the UK.

Background

Thorn Airfield Lighting required a system to look after not only their financial and accounting requirements, but also to assist with stock control and order processing. Sage MMS was chosen because of it ease of use, flexibility and tailorability. The system was implemented with 4 weeks and data was imported from their previous SAP system.

Sage MMS v3.5

Sage MMS v3.5 was chosen due to it's stability and flexibility. Having previously been on a SAP system, the data imported and up and running within a few weeks.

Ongoing Relationship

Following a successful implementation this year we continue to support and assist Thorn Airfield Lighting with their growing list of requirments from the system.
